A VisFlex is a durable and versatile FBG strain and temperature sensor that can be attached to most substrate materials temporarily or permanently. This sensor can be used individually or in a VisPatch array of single strain sensors, combined temperature and strain sensors, or rosette configurations. Long gauge lengths (LGL) are available for measuring surface strains in inhomogeneous materials and short gauge lengths (SGL) are standard.
